Hyperfine coupling temperature dependence of Mn2+ in CaF2

Abstract:The hyperfine coupling constant for Mn2+ located in cubic sites of CaF2 was measured over the temperature range 77 to 850°K by electron spin resonance techniques. The temperature dependence has been interpreted using the Šimánek-Orbach theory of a phonon-induced hyperfine field.
