Abstract: | It is shown that the use of: (1) measurements of the response, on a circle circumscribing the object in its cross-sectional plane, to two probe plane waves having different frequencies; (2) the intersecting canonical body approximation (ICBA) of the wave-object interaction; and (3) an asymptotic analysis of the ICBA data equation, enables a non-ambiguous identification of the scattering boundary. |
