Exchange of sodium and silver ions in Na3Sc2(PO4)3 single crystals

Abstract:	Sodium-and silver-ion exchange in single crystals of two polymorphous modifications of the Na₃Sc₂(PO₄)₃ compound has been studied. It is established that in the process of ion exchange, the samples undergo phase transitions similar to the well-known temperature transformations observed in these systems. It is shown that the phases with ferroelectric, ionic, and superionic properties may simultaneously coexist in one sample.
