Abstract: | ![]() Radiative effects are shown to cause breakdown of the semiclassical ground state in a massless theory of fermions and spinless bosons when the coupling of fermions to bosons is larger than the boson self-coupling. Supersymmetry forms the boundary, in coupling constant space, separating theories with and without stable semiclassical vacua. |
