| Abstract: | The molecular structure of gaseous CsReO4 has been studied by matrix isolation IR spectroscopy. The 18O substitution experiments indicate a bidentate structure of C2v symmetry in which the perrhenate anion is slightly distorted from the tetrahedral geometry. |
