| Abstract: | The method of time ratio was introduced to thermokinetics research, so the thermokinetic method on consecutive first order reaction was suggested. This method was then used to study the alkaline hydrolysis of diethyl phthalate in 50% aq. CH_3CN. The rate constants of this reaction calculted are in agreement with values in the literature. |
