Abstract:The fragmentation pathways for the γ-N-(aminoethyl) aminopropyltriethoxysilane(a) and γ-N- (2-N-aminoethyl)aminoethyl aminopropyltriethoxysilane (b) have been found by MS study of their derivatives,such as γ-N-(aminoethyl) aminopropyl-2,8,9-trioxa-5-aza-1-silatricyclo 3,3,3,0(1.5) undecane(c),γ-N- (2-N-aminoethyl) aminoethyl aminopropyl-2,8,9-trioxa-5-aza-1-silatricyclo 3,3,3,0(1.5) undecane(d) and γ-Chloropropyltriethoxysilane(e).Most of the fragmentation are due to ionization at silicon and carbon-carbon bonds adjacent to the nitrogen atom.
