Abstract:A new method for Ni determination in crude oil using methylbenzene, glacial acetic acid as mixed solvent by atomic absorption spectrometry is presented In this method, inorganic salt has been used as standard substance instead of organic salt The method has the advantages such as good precision, accuracy, high recovery rate and simple operation The content of Ni in two kinds of crude oil has been determined The results agree with that of ashing method
