| Abstract: | The cross section of electromagnetic radiation absorption by a cylindrical metal particle was calculated. No limitations were imposed on the relation between the electron mean free path and the particle size. Specific absorption cross sections of cylindrical and spherical particles are compared. The results of the numerical calculation are presented graphically. |
