A broadband mid-infrared laser magnetic resonance spectrometer is described, which can be operated in intracavity or extracavity configuration. The specially designed CO-laser gain tube allows operation from 1220–2000 cm?1. Experimental details and examples of spectroscopic applications are discussed. |
