Anti-plane shear of rectangular region with two cracks

An approach for obtaining the solution of multiple cracks in a rectangular region is presented. A pair of concentrated shear force applied to the crack surface is used in conjunction with the method of superposition for generating the results for cracks whose surfaces are free from tractions. A system of Fredholm integral equations can always be obtained to yield numerical results.
