摘    要:介绍了一种适用于在高重复频率调Q工作的RbTiOPO4(RTP)电光晶体。通过分析温度变化对RTP晶体透过率的影响,得出通过极精确地控制RTP晶体温度变化范围来补偿晶体的自然双折射是不实用的,而必须用两块相同的正交放置的RTP晶体Q开关,才能补偿晶体的自然双折射,保证Q开关的稳定性。用两块相同的正交放置的RTP晶体Q开关进行了不同频率的电光调Q实验,实验结果说明了RTP晶体作为电光Q开关在高重频工作的潜力。

Abstract:The Qswitched characteristics of RTP electro-optica crystal which is suitable for high repetition-rate application are introduced in this paper. By analyzing the temperature change effect on the transmission sensitivity of electro-optic RTP crystal, it indicates that to compensate the natural birefringence by highly accurate controlling RTP crystal temperature changes is not practical. The same two orthogonal RTP crystal electro-optic Q-switches must be used so that the natural birefringence can be compensated and the stability of the Q-switched lasers can be assured. Electro-optical Q-switched experiments at different frequency are made. The results show that RTP crystal has potential for high repetition-rate application
