| Abstract: | Brillouin scattering in pure water was investigated using a pulsed laser. In orderto obtain high resolution spectrum, an injection seeded Q -switched Nd: YAG laser was employed. Well resolved spectra of Brillouin lines were obtained, the observed frequency shift isconsistent with previous results. |
