| Abstract: | The exterior boundary value problem of steady-state diffusion around a spherical particle placed in a Stokes flow is considered at high Peclet numbers. A complete asymptotic expansion of the solution in the wake of the particle is constructed by the method of matched asymptotic expansions. |
