Boson factorization approximation for anharmonic nuclear vibrations |

| Abstract: | A new approach is proposed for treating anharmonic nuclear vibrations, based on a kind of Hartree factorization applied to the Hamiltonian in a boson representation. The method is illustrated with the exactly solvable model of Lipkin, Meshkov and Glick. |
