The non-exponential behavior of the velocity autocorrelation function

The contribution to the velocity autocorrelation function from ring events is studied for low densities and t?2t₀ using a kinetic model. Agreement with computer experiments for $\text{V}\text{V}{}_0\text{= 18}$ is found to be good.
