| Abstract: | The influence on the stress field in the vicinity of a crack tip due to a round inclusion is investigated. The antiplane shear problem is solved. After the classical stress field and stress strenth factor are obtained, the nonsingular nonlocal stresses in the vicinity of crack tip is obtained. The application of the solution is discussed. |
