Double giant dipole excitations in deformed nuclei |

| Abstract: | A calculation is presented for the excitation spectra of two superimposed dipole resonances for deformed nuclei by using theSU(3) limit of the interaction boson model for the case of many bosons. The results indicate that experiments to test the model may be feasible. |
