Optical absorption of piezoelectric polarons |

| Abstract: | The optical absorption of piezoelectric polarons is calculated for all values of the electron-phonon coupling. The spectrum shows a series of peaks due to internal transitions of the polaron superposed on a background resulting from emission and absorption of acoustical phonons. |
