Feature of Low-Lying States of a Planar Three-Boson System

The energy spectrum of the low-lying states of a system of three chargedbosons confined in a two-dimensional harmonic trap is investigated as afunction of the confinement strength ω₀ by means of the exactdiagonalization of the Hamiltonian. The important feature of the low-lyingstates of three charged bosons in two-dimensional space is obtained via ananalysis of the energy spectrum.
