Abstract: | Summary. Benzyltriphenylphosphonium peroxymonosulfate in the presence of catalytic amounts of bismuth chloride was found to be an
efficient and mild reagent for the oxidative cleavage of oximes and semicarbazones to the corresponding carbonyl compounds
under microwave irradiation.
