Abstract:	The¹³C-chemical shifts ofN, N-disubstituted andN-monosubstituted 4-aminomethylene-2-pyrazolin-5-ones are reported and discussed. On the basis of coupling constants³J(¹³C–H) it is demonstrated that the intramolecular hydrogen bond ofN-monosubstituted compounds1 b, c is not cleaved in a dipolar aprotic solvent, such asDMSO.
