Abstract: | A quantal DWBA calculation of Coulomb-nuclear interference, for excitations of arbitrary multipolarity, has been developed. Data for 208Pb(α, ′α)208Pb (3?) at 21 and 22 MeV are presented and analyzed. The theory fits these and other data well. |
