Determination of ko-factors of short-lived nuclides (T≧1 min) by thermal neutron activation technique

The k_o,Au-factors for 11 short-lived nuclides with T less than 1 min have been determined by irradiating the samples with thermal neutrons in the reactor thermal column using the pneumatic transfer system. The results obtained experimentally, without any error induced by the fast component of the reactor neutron spectrum and uncertainties of nuclear related characteristics, are in good agreement with the calculated data.
