| Abstract: | The process of second harmonic frequency generation in a chaotic (Gaussian) light on the basis of a simple quantum-mechanical model is studied in this work. It is shown that the process of second harmonic frequency generation in the chaotic light is quicker than that in the coherent light with the Poisson distribution of photon number. |
