Abstract: | The effects of time-delayed feedback control in a single-mode lasersystem is investigated. Using the small time delay approximation,the analytic expression of the stationary probability distributionfunction of the laser field is obtained. The mean, normalizedvariance and skewness of the steady-state laser intensity arecalculated. It is found that the time-delayed feedback control cansuppress the intensity fluctuation of the laser system. Thenumerical simulations are in good agreement with the approximateanalytic results. |
