Electrical resistivity of Sm monochalcogenides |

| Abstract: | The resistivity of mixed valence compounds has been computed in a two band Hubbard-like model. It is shown that there is a transition from a semiconductor to a metallic conductivity and that an intermediate valence can be found in both phases. |
