摘    要:本文测量了Rb蒸气中(5P1/2)共振能级的有效寿命.圆柱形样品池充入金属Rb,样品池温度在333K-373K之间,在池中产生10^11~10^12cm^-3的Rb原子密度.使用Nd:YAG脉冲激光器(泵浦激光)将Rb原子激发至5P3/2态,测定了转移荧光随时州衰减的曲线.由于辐射陷获效应的存在,有效辐射率是自然辐射率与透射因子的乘积.对5R1/2→5S1/2跃迁荧光曲线的测量,利用最小二乘法拟合及速率方程得到的不同温度下的有效寿命与霍斯坦理论计算得到的相符.

Abstract:The effective lifetime of the radiative fluorescence of the Rubidium DI lines have been measured in this paper. The Rubidium metal was distilled into the cylinder cell. The temperature of the cell was varied in the range from 333K to 373K,which will produce the rubidium densities of 10^11 - 10^12 cm^-3. Rb atoms were exticted to the 5P3/2 state using a pulsed Nd:YAG laser(pumped laser). The time-dependent fluorescence of Rubidium D1 lines have been measured. In the presence of radiation trapping effect, the effective radiative rate is equel to the spontaneous radiation rate multiplying the transmission factor. The measured curve of the 5P1/2 - 5S1/2 fluorescence was fitted by rate equation, and the effective lifetimes at different temperature can be obtained. These lifetimes are in agreement with theoretical evaluation from Holstein theory.
