Numerical modeling of the local relaxation kinetics of the KrF laser

A multilevel mathematical model of the local kinetics of a laser medium of initial composition He-Kr-F₂ is constructed by analyzing the relaxation mechanisms of a plasma produced when an electron beam enters a dense gas. A working program is written for solving with a BÉSM-6 computer the corresponding system of balance equations for the populations and temperatures.
