The feasibility of analyzing multicomponent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon samples by means of fluorescence lifetime and amplitude constant of individual components has beenstudied. Experiments show that components with overlapping fluorescence spectra can be quantitatively determined in a mixture without prior separation, only if there is a difference of a few nanoseconds in lifetime of components present. |
