Mössbauer effect on YFe3 compound

The thermal variation of the Mössbauer parameters of the YFe₃ compound between 78 K and T_c is studied. The results agrees well with the magnetic measurements. For the iron site 18 (h) the presence of an anisotropic interaction splits the Mössbauer spectrum into two six-lines patterns with the intensities in 2:1 ratio but above 400 K the intensities of the Mössbauer spectra of the sublattices are in 1 : 2: 6 ratio in agreement with crystallographic data.
