Low temperature photoconductivity of ZnIn₂Se₄ and CdIn₂Se₄

Abstract:	The photoconductivity of ZnIn₂Se₄ and CdIn₂Se₄ single crystals has been studied at 4.2 K. The spectra are compared to reflectivity spectra and relevant structures are interpreted in terms of interband transitions. The absence of excitonic transitions is discussed in connection with the crystalline perfection.
