Abstract: | Ultrasonic energy performs a physical function in the process of cleaning which can be obtained by no other industrial tool. Its ultimate success depends on the selection of proper equipment and material, a knowledge of cavitation, chemical cleaning techniques and process control. This paper, the third in the series on the industrial applications of macrosonics, reviews those factors which are important in production ultrasonic cleaning systems. |
