| Abstract: | We have successfully employed imidazolium trifluoroacetate as a replacement for tetrazole for efficient synthesis of phosphotyrosine. This modification is compatible with the protecting groups commonly used in solution phase and Fmoc-solid phase peptide synthesis. |
