| Abstract: | Sn(1,2−O2C6H3NO2−4)(C4H8O)]n has a chain polymeric solid-state structure based on very distorted square-pyramidal SnO5 moieties linked by oxygen bridges from the catechol ligands. It is, however, monomeric in dimethyl sulphoxide and soluble in many organic solvents. |
