| Abstract: | A novel bridged fluorescent calix4]arene with 1,8-diaminoanthracene and glycine at the upper rim has been prepared, which exhibited selective recognition towards AcO− over other anions such as F−, Cl−, Br−,  ,  , I− and  by fluorescence spectroscopy and 1H NMR method. |
