Abstract: | This paper uses finite element method to obtain thethree-dimensional temperature field of laser-induced transientthermal grating (TTG) for two-layered structure of diamond film onZnSe substrate. The numerical results indicate that unique two-timesheating process is gradually experienced in the area between twoadjacent grating stripes. However, there is a little change for thetemperature field along the depth direction for the diamond film dueto its great thermal conductivity. It further finds that thethickness of the diamond film has a significant influence on thetemperature field in diamond/ZnSe system. The results are useful forthe application of laser-induced TTG technique in film/substratesystem. |
