| Abstract: | Let k be a finite field. GL\-n(k) denotes the general linear group over k of dimension n, SL\-n(k) denotes the special linear group over k of dimension n . In this paper, we obtained the orders of GL\-n(k) and SL\-n(k) by using elementary row operations and induction. |
