| Abstract: | Electron spin polarization in the photoexcited triplet state of tetraphenyl porphyrin was detected at 100°K using EPR technique. The zero field splitting parameters |D| and |E| the free base porphyrin were found to be 0.0369 ± 0.0005 and 0.0082 ± 0.0005 cm?1, respectively. |
