| Abstract: | Hydromagnesiation of alkynylsilanes gives (Z)-α-silylvinyl Grignard reagents, which undergo palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with alkenyl halides to afford stereoselectively 1,3-dienylsilanes in good yields. |
