Abstract:A computer program is compiled to work out the ray tracing of UV detector of high performance capillary Electrophoresis (HPCE). Based on calculating results obtained by calculating, some practical methods for adjusting the distance between lens and capillary are provided to make UV detector work on the optimatic condition. The experiments with the aid of the method show a satisfactory detection sensitivity. The method for adjusting ray tracing can be used into all kinds of HPCE UV detector.
