| Abstract: | The influence of a thin elastic isotropic plate on the wave motion of an inhomogeneous fluid originating under the effect of external periodic perturbations is investigated. The fluid density increases constantly with depth. Analogous problems have been examined for an inhomogeneous fluid without a plate in 1, 2] and with a plate on the surface of a homogeneous fluid in 3–5].Sevastopol'.
