Effect of composition of coordination sphere on value of constant of additional hyperfine structure of EPR spectra

Conclusions Replacing the oxygen atoms by sulfur atoms in the coordination sphere of nitrogen-containing copper complexes leads to a substantial increase in the constant of the additional hyperfine structure from the nitrogen atoms, and consequently also to an increase in the degree of covalency of the Cu-N bonds.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 3, pp. 704–706, March, 1974.The authors thank V.
