| Abstract: | Under microwave irradiation, the nucleophilic substitution reactions of halouracils with selenium, sulfur, oxygen and nitrogen nucleophiles was complete within several minutes with yields up to 99%. The method using microwave irradiation is superior to those conducted under conventional heating processes. |
