| Abstract: | The stereoselective total synthesis of (?)-panaxjapyne-C was accomplished in a convergent fashion. The synthesis utilizes the readily available enantiomers l-(+)-diethyltartrate and d-(?)-diethyltartrate and involves a Cadiot–Chodkiewicz coupling reaction, and an Ohira–Bestmann reaction as the key steps. |
