| Abstract: | The syntheses of naphtho1,2–6:7,6-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 4 ), naphtho1,2–6:7,8-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 5 ), naphtho2,1-b:7,6-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 8 ), naphtho2,1-b:7,8-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 9 ), naphtho-1,2–6:5,6-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 14 ), naphtho1,2–6:6,5-b]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 17 ) and naphtho2,1–6:-6,5-b′]bisbenzob]thiophene ( 23 ) are reported. |
