| Abstract: | The paper describes a natural manifestation of the enhanced backscattering effect in conditions when sunlight is scattered by the sea bottom covered by shallow rippled water. In this system the water surface plays the role of a phase screen that focuses the light on the bottom, while the sandy bottom acts as a set of random single scatterers. |
