| Abstract: | Results of inelastic incoherent neutron scattering (IINS) on norbornane are reported. The IINS spectra in the low-temperature phases display low-frequency internal vibration modes very well. The assignment of these modes is proposed in reference to the results of the calculations of the structure and dynamics of isolated molecules by semi-empirical quantum chemistry methods. |
