Abstract: | X-ray powder diffraction patterns of the AgNbO3 have been obtained in a wide temperature range: from room temperature up to 850 K. The type of distortion and the multiplicity of the pseudo-cubic perovskite cell has been determined from the splitting of the main diffraction lines and from analysis of the superlattice peaks.
