| Abstract: | An efficient and simple procedure was developed for the green synthesis of various 2‐aryl‐1‐ben‐zylated‐1H‐benzimidazoles in high yields by condensation of o‐phenylenediamine with aldehydes with P2O5/SiO2 as catalyst under solvent‐free and ambient conditions. |
